Secrets don't make friends

So I'm going to lay it all out there. I am a fan of the Fray. They just pull at the heart strings every time. I'm a sucker for the vocals, the piano, the guitarist-some-times-background-vocals-hottie. A killer combo.

So exactly a week ago I got a sudden invite to see the Fray at the phoenix in Toronto. It wasn't open to the public so it was very intimate, only about 30-50 in the audience. It was AMAZING. I went to see metric the next day, which was the last thing I posted on, so this concert was kind of overlooked, blog wise... Yet I had to post some pictures and songs just to see If anyone else shared the same love for them.

My bad

Have not posted in a while. Being away from the blog feels like months rather than days. But I've come bearing gifts! These are photos from front row center at the Metric/Tokyo police club concert in Toronto last friday. I swear my Liver is shot, almost got decapitated by a crowd surfer and my spleen is probably severed from moshing my way to the front. But it was alllll worth it. I got to hold her hand, TWICE, how crazy is that?

She killed it that night, and I absolutely loved when she performed Empty. Gah, they did not disappoint.
